Fly fishing gear

Anyone who has ever dealt with fly fishing gear knows how important it is to have a good rod as well as know how to tie some great flies. Although both of these are very important, perhaps the most important pieces of equipment are the hip waders.

Hip waders rate high on anyone’s list of fly fishing gear:

• You need to move –Fly fishers are constantly moving around and moving their line back and forth. Hip waders allow them to move around, even when getting into deep water.

• You need to stay dry - Although you may get splashed a bit here and there, in general you do not really want to get wet when fishing. Waders are made with waterproof rubber keeps the water out at all times and in all conditions. Ask any fishers, and the worst possible thing that can happen is to get a leak in their waders.

Feet are the next things that get wet. Since they are already standing in water, they may or may not notice this at first, but they are sure to notice it later.

This is why it is vital to make sure that of all fly fishing gear, the waders are in the best shape possible.
